About Grand Master Dan Anderson
Grand Master Dan Anderson is the director and chief instructor of Dan Anderson Karate and has a 7th Degree Black Belt in Karate, a 6th Degree Black Belt (Senior Master) in Filipino Modern Arnis, and an 8th Degree Black Belt in MA-80. He is a 4 time national karate champion, having won over 70 Grand Titles! He was rated in the Top Ten fighters of all time by 7-time national champion Steve Anderson and 3 time national champion Keith Vitali (KKI article). He is the founder of American Freestyle Karate, a uniquely American martial art as well as the author of the best selling book, "American Freestyle Karate: A Guide To Sparring" which has been in print for 30 years. He has traveled all over North America teaching seminars in such diverse places as New York State, Ontario, Canada, Louisana, Georgia, California, Vancouver, BC, Oregon and Washington. He has been honored by inclusion into the Karate Living Legends, a lifetime achievement honor, being one of the 50 most influential martial artists in the 40 year history of tournament karate. Dan Anderson was accepted by the World Head Of Family Sokeship Council in 2008 as a Grand Master.

11:00am – 1:00pm Seminar one: Positional Set Up. How to read your opponent the very moment he / she takes a stance. This is demonstrated at every seminar GM Anderson instructs by predicting with a 97% ratio of being correct. This skill is helpful to all styles and ranks. For ages 7 and up. Cost is $35 pre-paid or $45 at the door.
2pm – 4:00pm Seminar two: Knife seminar. This is a no-nonsense, no-frills approach to the most deadly of attacks, one where an assailant is wielding a blade. It is called The "Big If" because these are techniques and approaches that will work IF you are fortunate enough for the attack to not be a sneak attack and if you keep your wits about you. For ages 10 and up. Cost: $35 pre-paid or $45 at the door. Please bring a training knife if you have one.
There is a $9 spectator fee for those that would like to watch, but not participate.
